The picture I have of my parents originated from my boyhood. And until today I have never tried to put this to the test. "Father's garden" is the attempt to revise my personal history. It is not the portrait of my parents, but a densely woven poetic film about feelings representative of a whole epoch, the end of which was rung in long ago.
